Illness & disability

Do you know someone with an illness or disability?

girls eating lunch at a tableYou should treat someone with an illness or disability just like you would want to be treated. If you meet someone new who has an illness or disability, greet him or her as you would any new person you meet. Keep in mind that people who are blind can only hear your voice and cannot see how you are moving your hands or other body language. Pull up a chair or squat to put yourself at eye level with a person in a wheelchair.
