Stress
Everyone feels stressed out sometimes (even your teachers!). Stress is a normal part of life. Schoolwork and relationships can cause teen girls to feel stressed out. There might also be times when your illness or disability causes you to feel stressed. Learning how to manage day-to-day stress is an important life skill because stress that builds up over time can take a toll on your physical and mental health. Did you know that you are more likely to catch a cold during times of high stress? Stress that builds up over time also can make some health problems worse. Check out our section on handling stress for tips on how to deal.
