Federal funding

The i3 program aims to develop and expand practices that close the achievement gap and prepare students to succeed in college and in their careers. i3 scale-up grants will provide up to $20 million to enable projects with strong evidence of effectiveness to expand across the country. i3 validation grants will provide up to $12 million to fund projects with moderate evidence of effectiveness. The 21st Century Conservation Service Corps National Council is working to engage young people and veterans in protecting natural, cultural, and historical resources. The Council will receive letters of interest from conservation and youth corps programs until June 30, 2014. Learn more about this funding opportunity.

The Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools (OSDFS) administers, coordinates, and recommends policy for improving quality and excellence of programs and activities. OSDFS programs provide financial assistance for activities that promote the health and well being of students, in addition to drug and violence prevention activities in elementary and secondary schools, and institutions of higher education.
