How much do you know about sleep?

  1. If you are only a little bit sleepy, it will not affect how well you do on a test or playing sports.

  2. Most teens need about 7.5 hours of sleep each night.

  3. It helps you wake up if you keep the lights low inside and avoid harsh sunlight too soon after you get out of bed in the morning.

  4. If you know that you are usually sleepy around 2 p.m. every day, it can help to wake you up by taking part in a class discussion.

  5. The best time to study for a test is right before going to bed, to make sure you remember everything.

  6. If you nap, it is best not to nap too late in the day, or it will make it hard to sleep at night.
